Requirements
- High School completion / GED
- Certified as a Paramedic in the State of Ohio
- BLS certification required at the time of hire
- ACLS certification required at the time of hire
- PALS certification required at the time of hire
- ITLS or PHTLS certification required within 90 days of hire
- NRP certification required within 1 year of hire
- ATLS (audit) certification required within 1 year of hire
- CAMTS approved professional certification required within 2 years of hire
- Minimum 3 years of full-time Paramedic experience required
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced emergency/critical care during transport in conjunction with a CareFlight Nurse
- Provide patient care for patients in Miami Valley Hospital and any Premier Health facility where a Mobile Intensive Care Unit is based
- Engage in public relations and medical education functions
Preferred Qualifications
- Recent full-time active experience with 911 Emergency Service Agency or MICU Transport Company preferred
