Requirements
- FAA Part 107 certification (if operating drones)
- Ability to perform accurate measurements and calculations
- Experience in recording field data
- Supervisory skills for survey field crew
- Familiarity with Trimble Business Center
- Ability to assist in the preparation of survey drawings using AutoCAD Civil3D software
Responsibilities
- Perform accurate measurements and calculations
- Recording of field data
- Supervising survey field crew
- Ensuring completion dates and budgets are met
- Ensuring consistent application of Stantec’s operating standards and safety practices
- Utilizing Trimble Business Center to transfer data to the proper location in the computer network and to acquire data for field use
- Assist in the preparation of survey drawings using AutoCAD Civil3D software
- Identify hazardous situations and apply safety procedures and company standards
- Responsible for safe operation and maintenance of vehicles, tools, and equipment
- Maybe required to drive company or personal vehicle to reach job sites
