Requirements
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance or equivalent is required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in credit risk policy & analysis or credit risk management in consumer cards
- Minimum of 3 years of project management experience
- Prior experience working for a large banking or financial services company, specifically within the debit or credit card space
- Proven project management skills, ability to manage multiple projects
- Initiative-taking and strong people skills to actively lead, collaborate, and implement initiatives in a cross-functional team environment
- Experience delivering recommendations to senior stakeholders and management
- Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills
Responsibilities
- Prioritize, plan, and drive the various credit risk initiatives in the consumer credit card business
- Serve as a bridge and work with various stakeholders including product, risk, technology, marketing, operations, and compliance, to successfully execute projects, including escalation and issue resolution
- Support development and implementation of initiatives around underwriting strategy, pricing segmentation, and credit line assignment/increases
- Develop credit strategies tailored to acquisition channel and card type. Partner with business segment product owners to optimize acquisition targeting/marketing campaigns
- Develop a governance and control framework for business and implementation of initiatives
- Provide progress reporting and analytics on key metrics to enable status monitoring and data driven decision making
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and teams to identify areas of opportunity and spearhead initiatives to enable profitable growth, while minimizing credit risk exposure and adapting to the changing economic and regulatory environment
