Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related experience
  • 10 years of relevant experience

Responsibilities

  • Develop and Maintain Project Schedules: Create, update, and manage detailed project schedules using industry-standard software to ensure timely completion of water and wastewater projects.
  • Coordinate with Project Teams: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather essential information for schedule development and track project progress.
  • Resource Allocation: Assist in identifying and allocating resources effectively to meet project deadlines and optimize project performance.
  • Monitor Project Progress: Track and report on the progress of projects, adjusting schedules as necessary to accommodate changes in project scope, resources, or timelines.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential scheduling risks and work with the project team to develop mitigation strategies to minimize impacts on project delivery.
  • Communication: Facilitate regular communication with team members and stakeholders to ensure everyone is informed about schedule changes and project timelines.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of project schedules, milestones, and deliverables. Prepare reports and presentations for management and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven experience in project scheduling, preferably within the stormwater / coastal resilience, water, and wastewater sector
  • Demonstrate proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar tools
  • Experience in alternative delivery, particularly progressive design build
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Knowledge of water and wastewater project processes
