Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Counselling, Psychology, Social Work
- Registration with Professional College or Association
- Ability to set short term objectives and use a solution focused approach
- Ability to clinically manage high-risk cases, including clients who are a threat to self or others
- Excellent time-management skills with the ability to handle a large volume of clients
Responsibilities
- Providing in-person counselling services for clients of TELUS health in our office in Kamloops
- Engaging in solution-focused therapy, supporting a range of clients dealing with complex life challenges
- Supporting clients in taking an active role in the change process by working from a strength-based approach
- Providing excellent clinical services and embracing the TELUS Health culture of continuous learning
- Managing the administrative requirements as dictated by TELUS Health’s clinical models
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous counselling experienced working with professionals an asset
