Requirements

  • JD from an ABA accredited law school
  • Admitted to the bar in the applicable jurisdiction and in good standing
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of legal experience
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and change while prioritizing and managing multiple assignments simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be detail oriented, highly organized, and thorough
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate risk, advise various business units of the risks, and exercise sound legal judgment
  • Excellent interpersonal and written and oral communication skills
  • Must have an intermediate or advanced skill level with all Microsoft Office software (e.g., Excel)
  • Ability to multitask and function efficiently with tight deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, understand changing department and company priorities and process large amounts of information
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Communicates effectively with internal and external clients

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily legal support for FIFA World Cup 2026 legal requirements
  • Provide overflow legal support for other On Location legal needs when required
  • Draft and negotiate a wide range of complex commercial contracts
  • Coordinate with business, finance, and compliance departments to assist with deal development
  • Implement and refine policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective contract-administration and document-management processes
  • Provide real-time analysis and advice on business and legal issues
  • Draft and review contracts and contract templates required for FIFA World Cup 2026
  • Follow up on the execution and delivery of contracts and other associated paperwork
  • Work with various departments in managing the timely review and approvals of contracts and tracking projects
  • Perform various basic research assignments
  • Work closely with various departments and individual project managers on contract and administrative matters

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in law firm, in-house legal or other equivalent experience preferred
  • Some experience in the entertainment, sports, or media industry preferred but not required
