Requirements
- Current certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Valid licensure to practice as a COTA in the state of California
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Occupational Therapists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Assist residents in performing therapeutic activities and exercises to improve functional abilities
- Provide guidance and education to residents and their families on adaptive techniques and equipment
- Document progress and maintain accurate records of treatment sessions
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team members to ensure coordinated care
