Responsibilities
- Collaborates with clinical staff to accurately assess clinical procedures and develop standard cost.
- Uses knowledge of various intermediate cost accounting methodologies and ability to assess which method is applicable.
- Uses knowledge of overhead allocation methodologies and process of assigning indirect cost to clinical procedures.
- Conducts analysis of various systems that integrate data into the Strata (cost) system; reconciliation and troubleshooting with vendor.
- Conducts analysis of monthly and YTD revenue for variance and forecasting.
- Uses knowledge of market data related to procedure charges and perform analysis on pricing.
- Conducts patient estimates for compliance with price transparency.
- Assists with the annual revenue budget and analysis.
- Responsible for revenue data integrity from order to patient account.
- Responsible for the hospitals accurate CDM (Charge Description Master) required for billing.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
