Corporate Communications Intern

Requirements

• Good communicator
• Detail-oriented
• Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks
• Knowledgeable about digital marketing tactics
• Familiar with SEO/SEM best practices
• Social media savvy
• Strong oral, written and interpersonal communications skills
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and other standard office tools

Responsibilities

• Support the team to plan, develop, and implement digital marketing, social, and PR initiatives
• Perform keyword research and meta descriptions to improve search engine ranking
• Identify industry trends and conduct competitor analysis to help inform programs
• Track campaign performance using analytics tools like Google Analytics to identify key metrics and generate reports to help inform any adjustments to the programming
• Assist with vendor management and purchase orders
• Provide support to team members, as needed, including research, metrics gathering, social content posting, data entry and data assessment
• Adhere to the Company’s Quality Management System (QMS) as well as domestic and global quality system regulations, standards, and procedures
• Understand relevant security, privacy and compliance principles and adhere to the regulations, standards, and procedures that are applicable to the Company
• Ensure other members of the department follow the QMS, regulations, standards, and procedures
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma with 1+ years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to be proactive and independent thinker; willing to collaborate with a multi-disciplined team to achieve corporate communication goals
