Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or equivalent experience
- Experience working in a Manufacturing Environment
- Experience in PLC and HMI programming
- Ability to work from 2pm to 10:30pm
- Ability to work OT as needed
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical/control systems and the ability to apply these concepts within a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of servo motors, motion control and drives
- Demonstrated understanding of mechanical concepts involving machine designs, process requirements involved in the manufacturing process
- Ability to use computer, interpret blueprints, engineering drawings and learn new systems
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple and significantly complex projects and assignments with high level of autonomy and accountability for results
Responsibilities
- Work cross-functionally with diverse teams throughout the plant to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Identify and document system vulnerabilities, and develop inclusive mitigation action plans; track corrective actions to ensure accountability.
- Design and manage key strategic interfaces within systems to promote component reuse and consistency with best practices.
- Create and implement tests to efficiently identify opportunities for design improvements.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to foster innovation and continuous improvement
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of demonstrated technical knowledge of electrical/control systems and ability to apply these concepts within a manufacturing environment
- 3+ years of experience in Control Architectures: – PLC: Allen Bradley – Robotics: Fanuc / ABB – Vision: Cognex / Keyence
- Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
- Knowledge of high voltage power distribution
