Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or equivalent experience
  • Experience working in a Manufacturing Environment
  • Experience in PLC and HMI programming
  • Ability to work from 2pm to 10:30pm
  • Ability to work OT as needed
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical/control systems and the ability to apply these concepts within a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of servo motors, motion control and drives
  • Demonstrated understanding of mechanical concepts involving machine designs, process requirements involved in the manufacturing process
  • Ability to use computer, interpret blueprints, engineering drawings and learn new systems
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple and significantly complex projects and assignments with high level of autonomy and accountability for results

Responsibilities

  • Work cross-functionally with diverse teams throughout the plant to troubleshoot issues effectively.
  • Identify and document system vulnerabilities, and develop inclusive mitigation action plans; track corrective actions to ensure accountability.
  • Design and manage key strategic interfaces within systems to promote component reuse and consistency with best practices.
  • Create and implement tests to efficiently identify opportunities for design improvements.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to foster innovation and continuous improvement

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of demonstrated technical knowledge of electrical/control systems and ability to apply these concepts within a manufacturing environment
  • 3+ years of experience in Control Architectures: – PLC: Allen Bradley – Robotics: Fanuc / ABB – Vision: Cognex / Keyence
  • Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Knowledge of high voltage power distribution
