Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field of study.
- Three (3) years of experience as a Controls Engineer, Manager Controls, Senior Controls Engineer or related occupation.
- One year of experience in the following: Industrial Networking protocols including Profibus, Profinet, TCP/IP, and EthernetIP; HMI Siemens TIA Portal and Rockwell FactoryTalk View; PLC- Rockwell ControlLogix and Siemens 300F; and Servo drive systems including Siemens G120 and S120 and Rockwell Powerflex and Kinetix.
Responsibilities
- Develop and document requirements required to design an automotive system.
- Design and manage key strategic interfaces within systems to enable component reuse and consistency to standard methodologies.
- Oversee requirements development and provide support to other specialists for root cause analysis.
- Expertly capture and analyze empirical data.
- Design tests to efficiently find opportunities for design improvements.
- Stay on top of industry trends, technologies, and standard methodologies.
- Identify and document system vulnerabilities and craft mitigation action plans.
- Track corrective actions.
