Requirements

• BA/BS Degree or equivalent
• 10 years’ related experience
• 10 years of SME in respective area(s)
• 8 years supervisory experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Oracle, SAP)
• CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant)

Responsibilities

• Ensures timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and annual reporting of financial results
• Prepares financial statements to include balance sheets, statements of operations, statements of equity, and statements of cash flow
• Leads initiatives with stakeholder groups to provide consistent alignment on cash flow expectation amounts and timing
• Creates insightful financial reporting and dashboards outlining revenue receivable projections in contrast with anticipated payable expenditures
• Ensures timely reconciliation of all general ledger accounts that underlie the financial statements
• Manages the budgeting process and ensures that a timely and accurate budget is produced and approved by leadership
• Works with external auditors to lead the completion of all required audit reviews within the prescribed timelines
• Provide financial analyses as needed, in particular for capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations
• Develop and implement standard accounting, controls, analysis and reporting procedures
• Provides leadership guidance in support of complex client or stakeholder financial reporting production, delivery, and interpretation
• Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
• Develop and maintain all necessary accounting policies and systems
