Requirements
- BA/BS Degree or equivalent
- 10 years’ related experience
- 10 years of SME in respective area(s)
- 8 years supervisory experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Oracle, SAP)
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant)
Responsibilities
- Ensures timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and annual reporting of financial results
- Prepares financial statements to include balance sheets, statements of operations, statements of equity, and statements of cash flow
- Leads initiatives with stakeholder groups to provide consistent alignment on cash flow expectation amounts and timing
- Creates insightful financial reporting and dashboards outlining revenue receivable projections in contrast with anticipated payable expenditures
- Ensures timely reconciliation of all general ledger accounts that underlie the financial statements
- Manages the budgeting process and ensures that a timely and accurate budget is produced and approved by leadership
- Works with external auditors to lead the completion of all required audit reviews within the prescribed timelines
- Provide financial analyses as needed, in particular for capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations
- Develop and implement standard accounting, controls, analysis and reporting procedures
- Provides leadership guidance in support of complex client or stakeholder financial reporting production, delivery, and interpretation
- Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
- Develop and maintain all necessary accounting policies and systems
