Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• CPA preferred, but not required
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience
• Experience in manufacturing or distribution is a plus
• Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting
• Proficiency in ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics GP preferred)
• Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Collaborative mindset with hands-on leadership style

Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and reconciliations
• Lead month-end close and deliver timely, GAAP-compliant financial statements
• Monitor daily cash flow and maintain a healthy liquidity position
• Develop and enforce internal controls and financial policies
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Provide financial analysis and insights to executive leadership and board
• Supervise and develop a small accounting team
• Oversee compliance, audit coordination, and tax/loan obligations
• Partner with operations and supply chain to monitor margins and inventory
• Utilize ERP systems for data analysis and process improvement
• Manage payroll execution and support HR benefits administration
• Contribute to cross-functional initiatives, system upgrades, and strategic projects
