Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
- 3–7+ years of relevant experience, preferably including experience at a family office, investment firm, or tech-focused environment.
- Strong understanding of investment management, financial analysis, and reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and financial visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Excel).
- Detail-oriented with exceptional analytical and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
- Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience managing financial operations across multiple entities and investment vehicles.
- Familiarity with venture capital deal structures, cap tables, and private equity reporting.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain detailed inflows/outflows reports with clear visualizations for internal stakeholders.
- Track liquidity needs and ensure optimal cash positioning across accounts and portfolio companies.
- Regularly review and assess investment performance across all asset classes.
- Identify assets that are underperforming or outperforming; prepare recommendations on potential buy/sell/hold actions.
- Prepare monthly financial statements for multiple early-stage incubations and operating companies.
- Consolidate reporting across entities to ensure a holistic view of financial health.
- Oversee payment processing and vendor billing across the family office and portfolio companies.
- Implement efficient AP systems and maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Assist with audit preparations, tax filings, and compliance requirements as needed.
