Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience in a similar role)
- 2–4+ years in a dynamic business setting with a strong emphasis on accuracy, regulatory adherence, and cross-functional collaboration
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and SharePoint
- Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with experience applying data-driven decision-making
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with a structured and professional approach
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills to handle competing priorities
Responsibilities
- Process contractual changes in accordance with state franchise statutes and the GM Dealer Sales and Service Agreement.
- Collaborate with dealers and key stakeholders to secure necessary documentation for change requests.
- Support dealers, dealer candidates, and GM field teams with proposals, network planning, system activities, and contractual requests.
- Serve as a liaison to dealers, field personnel, and key stakeholders on DCG policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Prepare contractual documents and dealer activation packets, while maintaining and update dealer records and systems to ensure accuracy.
- Conduct financial analyses of dealer candidates, including review of sales forecasts, profit projections, and composite group benchmarking; process notice requirements and review candidates and affiliated parties background checks.
- Participate in meetings with GM stakeholders regarding dealer proposals and ongoing dealer network activity and provide depositions or testimony as required.
- Perform periodic reviews of DCG SharePoint files to ensure compliance with Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) standards.
- Manage general administrative tasks related to dealer file maintenance, including document scanning, faxing, mailing, and copying.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Experience managing database information or working with contract-related systems
- Exposure to financial analysis, forecasting, or network planning
- Understanding of state franchise statutes or experience with dealer contract processing
- Ability to adapt to evolving processes and a growth mindset toward continuous improvement
- Prior experience working in a highly regulated industry or legal-adjacent role
