Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college is required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8+ years in senior leadership roles with substantial experience in commercial solutions, pharmaceutical sales leadership, business development, or related fields.
- Second-line pharmaceutical leadership and product launch experience required.
- Proven track record of developing and executing high-level strategies that drive business growth, secure new opportunities, and expand existing accounts.
- Experience working with executive leadership to drive strategic initiatives; managing CSO client programs is a plus.
- Demonstrated success in recruiting, hiring, and managing high-performing teams for both individual and management roles.
- Experience developing and delivering business plans to customers, senior leadership, and direct reports.
- Strong computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) and virtual meeting platforms (Teams, Zoom).
- Ability to travel for work-related meetings and functions, including overnight and/or weekend trips.
- Residence near a major airport in the Eastern or Central time zone preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement commercial strategies that align with both the client’s goals and the company’s objectives. Ensure that all initiatives are designed to meet annual budget goals and drive growth.
- Collaborate with the client to define and execute strategic vision, ensuring that all activities are tailored to their needs and objectives.
- Strategically oversee and drive the performance metrics and activities. Continuously evaluate progress and adjust strategic initiatives as necessary to ensure alignment with long-term goals and overall success.
- Provide oversight and direction for commercial leadership sales teams. Drives performance by motivating and guiding leaders to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
- Drive program growth and expansion within existing programs and work with Business Development team to develop effective proposals and pricing strategies to win new business.
- Develop profit for the company and provide financial and revenue support to programs.
- Partner with key internal stakeholders, including Finance, Compliance, Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Operations, Technology, and the Senior Leadership team, to ensure cohesive execution of strategies.
