Requirements
- An undergraduate degree
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in a role requiring meticulous attention to detail, problem-solving under constraints, analysis of complex systems, and the ability to align diverse interests (e.g., attorney, software engineer, financial analyst, civil engineer)
Responsibilities
- Leading contract negotiations with customers and suppliers (and their legal counsel when necessary), and independently making decisions on behalf of Solventum that impact contractual terms.
- Identifying and quantifying legal risks on less complex matters and crafting options or alternatives to appropriately balance risk and business objectives.
- Providing advice, usually involving the explanation and discussion of difficult information directly related to risk.
- Applying analytical skills to interpret data and trends from various reporting and information systems, then adapting different techniques and methods to develop solutions for identified issues.
Preferred Qualifications
- Either: (i) undergraduate degree and a minimum of 4-years of experience negotiating contracts or management coupled with technical writing; or (ii) graduate degree with a minimum of 1-year experience negotiating contracts.
