Requirements
- Level 3 – Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of related contracts professional experience – OR – Master’s degree with 3+ years of related contracts professional experience
- Level 4 – Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of related contracts professional experience – OR – Master’s degree with 6+ years of related contracts professional experience
- Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree
- Knowledge of FAR/DFAR requirements
- Knowledge of multiple contract types including Firm Fixed Price, Time & Materials or Cost-Plus Fixed Fee
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance
Responsibilities
- Contract guidance on Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR) requirements and compliance
- Delivery of Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) and Data Accession List (DAL) items
- Partners with Program Contracting Officer
- Supports Supply Chain Manager in subcontract execution compliance
- Contract interpretation and execution
- Program Change Requests (PCR) review and approval
- Proposal cost volume coordination and contractual adherence
- General contract compliance oversight
- Program market research and proposals
- Represent the program office to the customer in matters of a contractual nature
- Other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience within aerospace or defense
- Experience with incentive fee and award fee contract types
- Contract Management Certification (Certified Professional Contract Manager, Certified Commercial Contract Manager, Certified Federal Contract Manager, Certified Contract Management Associate)
