Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in content strategy and/or content marketing
- Experience leading or managing a team of content creators and social media professionals
- Strong portfolio of multi-channel content work—ideally including blogs, newsletters, social, and video
- Strategic mindset with the ability to translate business goals into actionable content plans
- Excellent writing, editing, communication, and leadership skills
- Highly capable of managing a content calendar, prioritizing projects, and giving feedback
- Collaborative approach and ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders
- Passion for helping creators, entrepreneurs, and small business owners grow their impact
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a small but mighty content team (currently a writer and social media manager), helping them grow in their roles and deliver impactful work
- Build and own a cohesive, scalable content strategy that ties back to our brand narrative and drives organic growth
- Oversee content development across formats and platforms (blog, newsletter, social, and video) with an emphasis on engaging, educational content that helps creators succeed
- Oversee and optimize content production and distribution workflows to ensure efficient, high-quality execution across platforms and channels
- Drive growth across social channels, specifically, and maximize earned media opportunities on social in close collaboration with the Creator Partnerships team
- Drive innovation in our content mix, experimenting with new formats like interactive tools, how-to resources, short- and long-form video expansion, and newsletter storytelling
- Collaborate with SEO and growth marketing to ensure our content is discoverable, data-informed, and aligned with top-of-funnel and conversion goals
- Work cross-functionally with teams like Creator Partnerships, Product, and Customer Success to ensure we’re producing the right content for the right audiences at the right time
- Track and report on performance, define KPIs, and use data to iterate and improve our content strategy over time
- Bring strategic thinking and creative ideas to our editorial approach, connecting the dots between audience needs, business priorities, and platform best practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in SaaS or the creator economy
- Strong familiarity with how AI and large language models (LLMs) are shaping the future of content and SEO
- Experience representing a brand across social, webinars, and community-facing events
