Requirements

  • Must possess an active Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a US TS/SCI w/ Poly level clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a Construction related field; OR Diploma or equivalent AND fifteen (15) years of experience in management-level positions.
  • 5+ years’ experience in Construction Management OR ten (10) years trade experience with at least five (5) years in supervisory or site lead positions.
  • Experience in managing high dollar projects, directing sub-contractors and skilled workers.
  • Experience in managing multiple site locations.
  • Experience in managing small projects in a fast-pace environment, using a variety of laborers and contractors.

Responsibilities

  • Direct the facilities’ construction and maintenance at each site including but not limited to job site document control and distribution of drawings, specifications, and all other technical documents
  • Directs project construction planning, safety, cost control, and scheduling activities
  • Interpret drawings and implement specifications for job site queries
  • Resolves job site technical issues encountered during execution of construction projects
  • Formulating and enforcing operational and construction standards that support company objectives, contractual requirements and comply with regulatory and environmental standards
  • Hiring, training, and leading a competent workforce to be versatile and technically savvy
  • Keeping a close watch on contractual obligations and staying informed of any regulatory changes that impact facility operations
  • Orchestrating activities to align with the overarching contract requirements and to ensure smooth site operations.
  • Provide technical support to site operations, guaranteeing the continuity of critical infrastructure operations, with a commitment to reliability for around-the-clock mission support
  • Communicating effectively with diverse teams, responding to questions, and solving a range of operational issues.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experienced in managing an A&E staff.
  • Experience in management of OCONUS personnel.
  • Experience with Capital construction work within OCONUS locations.
  • Ability to react quickly to customer needs and changing priorities.
