Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge and understanding of construction cost accounting is required.
- 1+ year work experience in relevant industry is required (construction, real estate, and/or tech).
- Ability to efficiently respond to critical issues, challenging inquiries or complaints.
- Ability to think critically, tackle problems and drive efficiencies using metrics and information.
- This position requires an organized individual with the capacity to balance multiple projects simultaneously, perform well in a fast-paced environment, and prioritize work efforts, all with minimal direction.
Responsibilities
- Process pay application billings, budgets, insurance certificates, lien waivers, and other related documents.
- Create and assist with capital purchase order processing, ensuring adherence to project schedules and budget requirements.
- Reconcile system databases to maintain data integrity and continuity across systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Support the intercompany sales team to facilitate transactions between Vantage entities, ensuring smooth financial operations.
- Provide internal and external partner support, addressing inquiries and facilitating communication between stakeholders.
- Track lien waivers to ensure timely collection and compliance with lender requirements.
- Coordinate directly with banks and financial institutions to support smooth and timely funding of capital projects.
- Support the Construction Cost Finance team with preparation of CAPEX project loan documentation, contractor documents, invoices, and purchase orders.
- Conduct data research, compilation, and analysis to support financial decision-making and project management.
- Prepare and consolidate monthly invoicing and cost summaries to support capital project funding, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Handle additional duties as assigned by Management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of GAAP is preferred, but not required.
- Data Center and Construction industry experience is preferred, but not required.
