Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in (Computer Science, IT, Qualitative/Quantitative, or related subjects)(Candidates can substitute one year of experience for one year of education)
  • 2+ years of experience developing standard documentation, including requirement and design specifications, use cases, test plans and scripts and configuration
  • 1+ years of experience with issue tracking and project management tools such as JIRA, SharePoint and/or Smartsheet
  • Ability to write basic HTML code
  • Experience in MS Office products, such as Excel, Visio, Teams and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

  • Support all aspects of the software development cycle including requirements, design, testing, and delivery of energy efficiency tracking and reporting tools
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with team members as to the status of various tasks, including leading status update meetings
  • Work with stakeholders of IT systems to define the system requirements and assist in identifying the best design approach
  • Develop an understanding of the client processes and procedures and help identify improvements relative to technology
  • Understand the capabilities and application of ICF’s IT systems and support a team of senior technologists to deliver solutions for clients
  • Be the first point of contact for users experiencing issues or requesting updates, provide one-on-one technical assistance and/or delegate tasks to the appropriate contact as necessary

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with configuring and testing software, tracking issues and working with developers to ensure that requirements are being met and a high-quality product produced
  • Strong customer service focus, project planning, attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects to meet goals, deliverables, and deadlines
  • Experience with content management systems, including user roles, configuration, and content editing
  • Ability to work collaboratively and cohesively in a team environment and to coordinate amongst diverse program stakeholders
  • Experience/Exposure in the utility, energy, and/or energy efficiency sectors is a plus
