Requirements

  • 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)
  • 4 or more years of experience (Preferred) in conference/event planning
  • In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Works with internal clients to plan, coordinate, and execute event logistics on a consistent basis
  • Works with Sr Meeting Manager to support large meeting deliverables
  • Develops, reviews and monitors budgets
  • Assists with sourcing and negotiating hotel and meeting locations as needed
  • Participates on site location visits as needed
  • Oversees the development of contracting with vendors, service providers and hotels through procurement processes
  • Develops event planning timelines working within a core team to successfully execute with program timing
  • Works within a team environment with collaboration to build successful conference planning solutions based on survey analyses, industry trends and established best practices
  • As assigned, support registration and mobile app technology build for smaller less complex programs
  • Provides expertise on systems or applications as needed by a department/discipline
  • Serves as backup for other team members
