Requirements
- 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)
- 4 or more years of experience (Preferred) in conference/event planning
- In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Responsibilities
- Works with internal clients to plan, coordinate, and execute event logistics on a consistent basis
- Works with Sr Meeting Manager to support large meeting deliverables
- Develops, reviews and monitors budgets
- Assists with sourcing and negotiating hotel and meeting locations as needed
- Participates on site location visits as needed
- Oversees the development of contracting with vendors, service providers and hotels through procurement processes
- Develops event planning timelines working within a core team to successfully execute with program timing
- Works within a team environment with collaboration to build successful conference planning solutions based on survey analyses, industry trends and established best practices
- As assigned, support registration and mobile app technology build for smaller less complex programs
- Provides expertise on systems or applications as needed by a department/discipline
- Serves as backup for other team members
Preferred Qualifications
