Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field and a minimum of two years progressively responsible experience in compliance, natural gas distribution or a related field
- A general educational knowledge normally acquired through a high school diploma or a General Equivalency Diploma (GED) and four years progressively responsible experience in compliance, natural gas distribution or a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to perform analysis involving ratios, percentages, and simple statistical methods
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook)
Responsibilities
- Monitors and supports compliance with Division Operator Qualification (OQ) and other certification programs
- Communicates compliance needs and status reports with supervisors
- Assists local management and supervision and/or schedules employee OQ training and evaluations for field personnel
- Assists local management and supervision and/or schedules steel welder and all other joiner certifications instruction, observation, and testing of welds/joints for field personnel (may include contractors)
- Monitors contractor OQ records
- Communicates, coordinates and supports various compliance activities and programs
- Monitors compliance activities and orders to ensure compliance schedules
- Performs Pipeline Integrity Management (PIM) and Distribution Integrity Management (DIM) analysis
- Conducts field inspections, which involves observing employees and contractors performing operating and maintenance functions (covered tasks) on pipeline facilities
- Monitors and communicates compliance-related developments and changes in regulatory requirements, company policies and procedures, and/or manufacturers’ practices, to managers, supervisors, and field personnel
- Incumbent must be self directed, have excellent organizational skills, and have the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of pipeline compliance regulations and RP 1162 preferred
- Public speaking and technical writing experience preferred
