Compliance Specialist – Compliance Analyst

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field and a minimum of two years progressively responsible experience in compliance, natural gas distribution or a related field
A general educational knowledge normally acquired through a high school diploma or a General Equivalency Diploma (GED) and four years progressively responsible experience in compliance, natural gas distribution or a related field
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to perform analysis involving ratios, percentages, and simple statistical methods
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook)

Monitors and supports compliance with Division Operator Qualification (OQ) and other certification programs
Communicates compliance needs and status reports with supervisors
Assists local management and supervision and/or schedules employee OQ training and evaluations for field personnel
Assists local management and supervision and/or schedules steel welder and all other joiner certifications instruction, observation, and testing of welds/joints for field personnel (may include contractors)
Monitors contractor OQ records
Communicates, coordinates and supports various compliance activities and programs
Monitors compliance activities and orders to ensure compliance schedules
Performs Pipeline Integrity Management (PIM) and Distribution Integrity Management (DIM) analysis
Conducts field inspections, which involves observing employees and contractors performing operating and maintenance functions (covered tasks) on pipeline facilities
Monitors and communicates compliance-related developments and changes in regulatory requirements, company policies and procedures, and/or manufacturers’ practices, to managers, supervisors, and field personnel
Incumbent must be self directed, have excellent organizational skills, and have the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
