Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources or related field. Professional certification in employee investigations preferred.
- 5+ years of experience conducting workplace investigations.
- Possesses the ability to identify root cause, analyze, and interpret data.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with a commitment to excellence.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas to a broad audience.
- Strong knowledge of employee relations, state and federal laws including Title VII, ADA, FMLA, and FLSA.
- Diplomatically manages challenging or tense interpersonal situations fairly and objectively regardless of personal biases or beliefs.
- Applies to issues a knowledge of the mission, values, resources, culture, systems, and business strategies to find solutions that are compliant, mitigate risk and best serve the organization. Knows the reasoning behind key policies, practices, and procedures.

Responsibilities
- Independently conduct timely, objective, and thorough internal investigations including but not limited to alleged violations of company policy, harassment, discrimination, accommodation, and retaliation and prepares all required documentation.
- Maintain detailed and accurate accounts of investigations with timely memorialization of the notes and supporting documents into the case management system.
- Prepare investigation plans, gather evidence by interviewing witnesses, reviewing relevant records, evidence analysis, policies and law to determine factual findings and whether complaint is substantiated. Proposes appropriate corrective actions, such as counseling, disciplinary measures, or policy changes taking into consideration precedent set to ensure consistency.
- Exercise judgment and provide analysis involving complex and diverse employee relations problems.
- Partners with Labor and Employment Counsel, Human Resources and other resources as appropriate on sensitive employee relations issues.
- Professionally and effectively communicate findings with key partners to develop and deliver an integrated plan.
- Identify and report on trends and recommendations for systemic improvements and preventative measures (e.g., training).
- Strategize and develop a comprehensive plan of action to address identified issues.
- The Investigator will also be responsible for designing and implementing targeted training programs to promote best practices and prevent future occurrences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in Spanish or Chinese (verbal and written).
