  • 6+ years of Compensation experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 3+ years of management or leadership experience

Responsibilities

  • Manage the teams that oversee the administration of deferred compensation, long-term cash awards, equity, ESPP, and related transactions as well as special contracts and other executive agreements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and a subject matter expert for tasks, projects and oversight of the administration and design for the domestic and international compensation programs managed on the Long-term Incentive, Deferred and Contract Administration team. This includes ensuring milestones and timelines for annual equity and deferred compensation grants and distributions are met, administration is adhering with award terms and conditions, and line of business and employee inquiries are cared for.
  • Provide work direction to senior professionals that oversee the administration to identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development.
  • Drive strategic collaboration with internal Technology and Product teams to define the service and product needs for the function, in alignment with company goals.
  • Own and manage key vendor relationships that administer equity and long-term cash; this includes regular business reviews of vendor performance, monitoring external trends, and responsible for ensuring vendor compliance.
  • Maintain relationships with Payroll, Finance, HR, and Legal to ensure compliance with legal, tax, internal policy, and regulatory requirements.
  • Review existing and proposed compensation laws and regulations and takes or recommends corrective action.
  • Determine appropriate strategy and actions to meet moderate to high-risk deliverables.
  • Present and make recommendations to executive management.
  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of global administration, laws, and regulations of equity vehicles (RSR, stock, ESPP) and deferred compensation (long-term cash, deferred)
  • Experience with end-to-end implementation of strategic change initiatives; including identifying opportunities, influencing stakeholders and delivering an improved employee and manager experience.
  • Familiar with accounting standards, tax requirements, and section 409A.
  • Experience with Workday and Computershare’s EquatePlus platform is a plus.
  • History with vendor selection and relationship management.
  • High attention to detail with focus on data accuracy.
  • Effective communicator, capable of presenting with Executives.
  • Strong Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex, fast paced environment.
