Requirements
- Minimum 2-3 years of work experience in Finance, Payroll, Accounting or Human Resources.
- Post-secondary education with focus in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources or Business-related discipline (Bachelor’s Degree).
- Exposure to compensation & benefits is required.
- Experience with HRIS and ERP systems is also strongly recommended.
- General knowledge of compensation elements and structures across various position levels.
- Experience with Workday (or similar HRIS system).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc.
Responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders at various levels to input and verify the accuracy of all data in Workday that affects payroll, benefits, labour, labour management and labour forecasting.
- Inputting, managing and reviewing data related to all aspects of employee compensation, including budgeting, forecasting and reviewing actuals for base pay, incentive plans, bonuses, retirement benefits, and other employee benefits.
- Assists with the operation of all systems in support of the labour management process, including Workday and the Corporate Labour Management System (CLMS).
- Manage regional labour including budgeting, forecasting, approval of invoices, accruals, assisting in maintaining and issuing templates to properties and incentive true-ups in Q1 of each calendar year.
- Assist with maintaining data integrity within systems and between systems.
- Contribute towards innovation and development of processes and systems.
- Input of all employee-related financial information into Workday associated with hires, promotions, terminations, department transfers, fixed term contracts, benefits, one-time payments, and other financial data.
- Input of all approved corporate positions into Workday. Comply with payroll processing deadlines for all corporate payrolls, including Toronto (semi-monthly), Toronto (bi-weekly), US (semi-monthly), monthly payrolls in Dubai, London, Singapore, Geneva, and other locations.
- Liaise with payroll processors for corporate employees paid by third parties in either Four Seasons properties or WSO offices in Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Assist with monitoring and accurately transferring all financial information in Workday to ADP payroll and the Corporate Labour Management System (CLMS).
- Responsible for data input of all employee compensation related information into the corporate HRIS system ‘Workday’ – ex. data associated with hires, promotions, transfers, and one-time payments.
- Responsible to ensure that all employee compensation information in Workday aligns with the applicable budget and forecast.
- Responsible for transferring all employee compensation information (actualized) from Workday and various payroll registers into the Corporate Labour Management System (CLMS).
- Support all regional labour planning activities, including correspondence with Area Leadership and Property Directors of Finance regarding chargeback costing.
- Maintain regional labour schedules and booking of entries on a monthly basis to cross charge for regional labour costs between FS Corporate and various hotels.
- Create and maintain cost allocation schedule and book entry on monthly basis to cross charge labour expenses between departments and programs.
- Work with and support the Corporate Accounting team with all regional and allocation labour-related expenses that are recorded in the General Ledger.
- Works closely with both internal and external auditors on all related requests.
