Requirements
- Current employee with the Oregon Department of Human Services (ODHS)
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, or a degree related to the agency program that demonstrates the capacity for the knowledge and skills
- Any combination of experience or education equivalent to three years technical-level experience that typically supports the knowledge and skill requirements listed for the classification
- Experience working in the community
- Experience with evaluating resources and services
- Experience communicating effectively
- Experience prioritizing and attending to detail
Responsibilities
- Provide coordination and liaison services between multiple partners and department staff within the local branch and/or district
- Represent the agency and its various and diverse programs in a variety of community settings serving diverse populations
- Develop and maintain effective and positive working relationships with program service providers, social service providers, community and faith-based organizations and agency staff
- Advocate for ODHS clients, problem solving as necessary, to facilitate and/or enhance access to services by ODHS clients as they seek economic stability
- Recommend program or service delivery changes based on research and outcome measurement
- Provide program and operational support to the District Manager as needed
- Research and develop contracted services, resources, and potential providers
- Assist in monitoring and tracking of contracted services
