Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 4 years of experience in community-based programming, student community-based learning, outcomes reporting, partnership building
- Experience working with urban and rural populations
- Ability to work independently
- Exercise individual judgment and initiative
- Maintain close attention to detail
- Utilize basic computer programs (Word, Excel)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for communicating with external public and professional partners
Responsibilities
- Manage community engagement, education, and student service-learning programs
- Independently develop, coordinate, deliver, supervise, and report on community engagement activities
- Connect with community organizations and plan public health education events
- Coordinate student and pharmacist engagement
- Conduct data collection and reporting to evaluate outcomes and impact of community engagement programming
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s or other advanced degree preferred
- Experience with professional communication, including written and verbal as well as delivery of professional presentations
- Experience delivering multiple community-based and evidence-based programs
- Experience initiating, fostering, and building partnerships between organizations and individuals
- Working knowledge of data collection and analysis software (e.g., Qualtrics, SPSS)
- Professional or academic interest in prevention and/or harm reduction, pharmacy, or medicine
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
