Requirements

  • Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, International Business, Management or related field
  • 8 years of experience as Community Development Sr Group Manager, Community Relations Sr Manager/COO, Business Planning & Analysis Manager or related position involving business planning formation within Latin America social investment institutions
  • Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree in the stated fields and 10 years of specified progressive, post-baccalaureate experience
  • Experience in non-profits governance
  • Experience in policies for governance of corporate charitable giving
  • Experience in grant making
  • Experience in corporate philanthropic giving and financial donations
  • Experience in non-profit operations, governance, programming and differences within Latin America jurisdictions
  • Experience in corporate governance
  • Experience in finance, accounting and tax within Latin America
  • Experience in implementation of CRM and financial technology platforms within Latin America
  • Experience in development of Risk and Control frameworks within Latin America in compliance with US regulatory frameworks
  • Experience in corporate foundation governance and financial planning including operational budget, reserves and cash flow
  • At least 6 years of experience with multi-country controls and risk frameworks for non-profit management
  • Up to 20% international and domestic travel required

Responsibilities

  • Design, lead and execute Community Programs International Planning, Governance, Risk and Controls initiatives for business planning formation within Latin America and international social investment institutions
  • Create end to end strategic solutions that can be adopted globally for operations on the Community Programs International teams
  • Provide strategic financial and operational planning for community engagement and Foundation efforts
  • Oversee charitable contributions process of corporate philanthropic giving and financial donations, community engagement, volunteer programming and the Foundation grant program across 20 countries in Latin America
  • Lead effective risk and controls management and cross-geographical knowledge transfers
  • Lead the engagements with external stakeholders, community organizations, researchers, think-tanks, industry groups and peer foundation leadership teams
  • Assess local Latin America and international reputation risks to the franchise and interface with stakeholders across Latin America directly
  • Manage and execute volunteering programming across Latin America
  • Manage relationship of Foundation portfolio of grantees in Latin America cluster including communications, relationship management, project monitoring, project evaluation, and volunteering engagement
  • Serve as a spending authority for Latin America’s charitable contributions budget and operational expenses
  • Represent the organization at public events and public relations opportunities
