Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repair actions on select information technology equipment.
  • Install, update, and evaluate software on select technology equipment.
  • Manage the configuration, imaging, and deployment of select information technology equipment.
  • Provide assistance and guidance developing options for information technology equipment upgrades, including working with vendors to repair and replace existing equipment.
  • Provide system administration and operational customer support for standard Windows-based operating system equipment.
  • Identify and resolve operational risks as they pertain to information technology support services.
  • Prepare and maintain system documentation.
  • Provide logistics support activities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with networking devices to include Cisco routers and switches.
  • Experience with VTC equipment.
  • Experience with IP television systems.
  • Understanding of offsite facility design/setup based on defined deployment operations scenarios.
  • Experience with VMware – hypervisor installation, operation, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience creating and deploying custom configuration images for computer installations using Symantec Ghost.
  • Experience with Avaya Media Gateways and Session Manager.
  • Experience with Satellite Communications.
  • Experience with VHF/UHF Radios.
  • Be available to travel within the continental United States (CONUS) and its territories.
