Requirements
- Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
- Superior organizational skills, creativity, and attention to detail
- Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, InCopy
- Proven effectiveness in fast-paced, demanding, client-driven environment.
- Experience and/or background in marketing and/or financial services/retirement industry.
- Must be able to work in a team environment
Responsibilities
- Write and edit copy and review design to ensure that content is incorporated properly
- Translate complex topics into user-friendly communications
- Create and present concepts to key stakeholders
- Juggle numerous projects simultaneously and provide back-up support to other editor/writers
- Handle projects from the outset – coordinating with project managers and other partners to manage project deliverables to agreed-upon timelines
- Maximize the power of content management systems and the efficiency of standardized, best-practice copy.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
- Financial services/retirement/health benefit marketing experience preferred
- Proficiency using content management/production systems
- Superior organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and work independently
- Proven effectiveness in a fast-paced, demanding, client-driven environment
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
