Requirements
- BA/BS degree in communications, marketing, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in communications and marketing-related roles.
- NYC location required with hybrid in office 1-2 days per week.
Responsibilities
- Support the brand marketing themes and tent pole calendar with relevant pitching and stories aimed at driving consumer awareness and engagement.
- Manage external PR firms to ensure all press efforts are aligned with our overall goals and are in support of major company initiatives, product launches, new partnerships, etc.
- Set and manage PR team KPIs – generate monthly and quarterly reports.
- Work with the PR team to build out a proactive pitching calendar of evergreen content and themes to ensure consistent press momentum.
- Stay apprised of relevant press opportunities and conversations that we can join or pitch around.
- Act as a liaison between company and press – coordinate all materials and necessary people for interviews, features, or inclusions. Ensure developed brand messaging is consistent throughout.
- Manage press inbox.
- Ideation around ‘big PR ideas’ to drive high quality press hits.
- Pitch relevant internal spokespeople for panels, keynotes, or awards either digitally or in person at events.
- Planning and executing on larger events including annual conferences.
- Identify, vet, and submit Talkspace to relevant conferences and awards.
- Support other thought leadership virtual or in person events as needed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
