Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Detail-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience in a communications or administrative role is an asset
Responsibilities
- Draft and edit written communications including emails, reports, memos, and announcements
- Assist in developing internal communication plans and strategies
- Coordinate and support company-wide communication initiatives
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company projects, services, and policies
- Monitor and respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborate with different departments to ensure message consistency and clarity
- Organize and participate in team meetings, taking notes and following up on action items
- Provide administrative support to the communications department as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field preferred
