Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain from an accredited college or university preferred.
- Two plus (2+) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Experience with P2P platforms and/or Power BI helpful but not required.
Responsibilities
- Conducts market research to identify risks and trends and reviews possible opportunities in commodity sourcing.
- Monitors fluctuations in commodity prices, analyzes spending patterns and identifies opportunities for cost reductions without compromising quality.
- Supports supplier negotiations by documenting and summarizing changes, ensuring the system is updated accordingly.
- Analyzes supplier performance by checking if they meet cost-saving goals.
- Establishes and maintains relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable and sustainable commodity sourcing.
- Maintains the documentation of contracts, request for proposals (RFPs), supplier agreements, and processes.
- Partners on sourcing projects that require collaboration across various teams and departments.
- Stays abreast of industry news, market trends, and regulatory changes that could affect commodity prices.
Preferred Qualifications
- IIBA, CIPS or CPSM helpful but not required.
- Experience with P2P platforms and/or Power BI helpful but not required.
