Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Develop and ensure adherence to commissioning processes and best practices unique to the data center mission critical environment.
  • Within the team, maintain accurate and updated documentation processes throughout the commissioning process, including project plans, progress reports, change orders, and final commissioning reports.
  • In a player/coach capacity, manage a team of commissioning project managers while also serving as the main point of contact for stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and consultants on your own projects.
  • Implement quality assurance processes at scale to monitor and review project performance, focusing on adherence to industry standards, codes, and regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety guidelines, industry regulations, and environmental standards.
  • Contribute to the growth of the commissioning service by participating in RFPs, pitches, etc.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices related to commissioning and project management.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and contribute innovative ideas to enhance project delivery and streamline commissioning processes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from four-year College or University preferred; or 10 to 15 years related technical experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Prior experience building and managing high performing teams.
