Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in culinary innovation, product development, or commercialization, ideally in a multi-unit restaurant or foodservice environment.
- Experience working with chefs to develop and scale recipes that are both creative and operationally sound.
- A solid grasp of food costs, menu profitability, and how to make a menu item both exciting and financially viable.
- Strong project management skills and a proven ability to keep multiple initiatives on track.
- A data-driven mindset and the ability to analyze results to guide decisions and refine processes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally to bring ideas to life.
Responsibilities
- Support the Culinary team in bringing product briefs to life—from early concepting through final recipe validation.
- Work with the Director of Business Strategy to analyze & determine the best path forward on menu changes.
- Test and refine recipes to ensure they meet brand standards for flavor, consistency, and operational feasibility.
- Partner with suppliers and the supply chain team to commercialize ingredients and products that meet quality and scalability requirements.
- Collaborate with Operations and Training to ensure successful execution across the fleet, including the development of SOPs, tools, and rollout plans.
- Participate in kitchen tests & tastings, gather feedback, and iterate quickly to optimize for taste, efficiency, and cost.
- Assist with ingredient and equipment testing to support innovation and kitchen workflow improvements.
- Manage timelines, track progress, and drive cross-functional follow-ups to ensure projects stay on schedule.
- Contribute to the innovation pipeline by staying informed on culinary trends & competitive menus.
