Responsibilities

  • Draft, analyze, negotiate and complete commercial transactions with third-party vendors, content providers, and marketing and branding partners, including SOWs, SaaS agreements, Content Access Agreements, and Sponsorship agreements.
  • Develop and maintain a centralized repository of contract templates, playbooks, and negotiation guidelines.
  • Manage and maintain access to and use of our contract management system.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for commercial contracting process, responding to inquiries and developing expertise to guide stakeholders through contracting workflows.
  • Coordinate across Product, Sales, Finance, Business Operations, Research, and Procurement teams to ensure compliance with contracting requirements and develop policies/workflows to scale contracting process.
  • Maintain commercial terms posted on company website and coordinate updates to such terms with the Commercial Legal team.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and lead implementation of efficiency initiatives.
  • Support ad-hoc legal projects as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of related contract management experience (including reading and drafting contracts) or project management experience supporting a legal function.
  • Experience with contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems and legal operations technology.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and deliver quality results.
  • Proactive and solutions-oriented approach to identifying, recommending, and implementing process improvements within the legal department.
  • Strong team player mindset with a genuine interest in technology development and AI, who excels in collaborative, fast-paced environments.
