Requirements
- 5– 7 years of software B2B sales or commercial sales experience, with a minimum of 2+ years in a sales leadership role.
- Demonstrated success co-selling with or managing Value Added Resellers or indirect sales channels.
- Experience in industrial software or enterprise SaaS, ideally in sectors such as manufacturing, federal aerospace & defense, electronics & high tech, automotive, and medical devices…
- Strong knowledge of channel sales strategies, partner lifecycle management, and partner enablement best practices.
- Proficiency with sales methodologies such as MEDDICC, Challenger, or SPIN Selling.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to influence cross-functionally and externally.
- Proficiency in Salesforce, Salesloft, Clari, Qlik…
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and manage a team of inside sales professionals focused on commercial and mid-market accounts, with a priority on co-selling through VAR partners.
- Ability to manage a high volume of transactional business, mid-sized deals, and occasional enterprise scale opportunities.
- Capable of being in office at least 3 days a week as well as ability to travel to meet customers.
- Develop an enablement plan for each of the 9 reps on your team, skill / will managing model experience is a plus.
- Develop joint sales strategies with key VARs to drive adoption of PTC’s software solutions across core verticals.
- Collaborate with VARs on opportunity identification, lead nurturing, quoting, and closing—maintaining a clear view of shared pipelines and forecast accuracy.
- Provide sales leadership on deal structuring, channel conflict resolution, and execution of joint account plans. MEDDICC experience is crucial.
- Familiar with following tech stack Salesforce, Clari, Salesloft, Drift, Zoominfo, Linkedin Navigator.
- Act as the voice of your team within the organization—providing feedback to Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to enhance partner engagement and solution positioning.
- Track sales representative performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives to scale revenue growth.
- Effective at ongoing recruiting and staffing to build the team.
