Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Dairy Science, or a related scientific field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering practical, science-based solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with external partners.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
  • A proactive, adaptable mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Review and interpret commercial customer product specifications and test methodologies, providing technical insights and manage technical communications between internal teams, third party labs, and sales partners.
  • Support the Ingredient Sales team by managing commercial customer product requests and coordinating with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate responses.
  • Act as a customer-facing technical resource, clearly communicating complex ingredient and regulatory information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate directly with commercial customers to understand their product requirements and provide timely, science-based solutions that support their success.
  • Ensure the accuracy and timely preparation of export documentation, including Health Certificates, Certificates of Free Sale, Free Trade Agreements, and other country-specific requirements.
  • Maintain and update plant and product registrations in accordance with international export regulations.
  • Monitor and manage deadlines to ensure all export documents are delivered before product arrival at destination ports.
  • Stay current on international regulatory requirements and provide guidance to internal teams and customers.
  • Draft and manage internal and external communications, including emails, memos, and technical documents.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to gather and verify information needed for documentation and compliance.
  • Build strong working relationships across departments to ensure seamless customer support and technical service.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 plus years of experience in quality assurance, product development, technical service, food export, or regulatory compliance (preferred).
  • Familiarity with dairy ingredients, export documentation, or technical services in the Food and Consumer Goods industry (preferred).
