Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, finance, economics or relevant field
- Minimum ten (10) years’ energy industry experience for Sr. position
- Minimum seven (7) years’ energy industry experience for III position
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to understand contract details and resulting business impacts
- Demonstrates understanding of energy market fundamentals and economics, including commodity pricing, basin market fundamentals and competitor strategies and actions
- Understanding of oil and natural gas gathering, processing, transportation, and natural gas liquids (NGL) fractionation
Responsibilities
- Collaborates to create and customize contracts and develop solutions that are mutually beneficial to Williams and the customer
- Evaluates cost/rate of return in combination with other deal terms; provides feedback on development of economic analysis of commercial opportunities
- Understands and communicates Williams market perspectives to customers; proactively interacts with customers’ leadership to build and maintain relationships
- Completes complex natural gas gathering, processing, transportation, natural gas liquids (NGL) fractionation, and other regulated pipeline commercial negotiations to expand existing accounts and our asset footprint
- Assists customers in improving and/or growing their business on the pipeline in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations
- Contacts current and/or prospective customers proactively with calls to solve problems, address commercial issues, and/or promote services
- Acquires and applies a proven understanding of regulatory environment and agencies such as the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and the North American Energy Standards Board (NAESB), in order to ensure service compliance
- May lead training and mentor others
- Identifies and pursues opportunities to expand existing accounts and asset footprints
- Participates in tradeshows/exhibits to promote Williams brand and services
- Supports closure of all new opportunities with existing customers
- Interprets and facilitates implementation of agreements and amendments
- Assists in the Completion of complex natural gas gathering, processing, transportation, natural gas liquids (NGL) fractionation, and other regulated pipeline commercial negotiations to expand existing accounts and our asset footprint
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA
- Previous commercial experience
- Familiarity of deep-water oil and gas infrastructure, including floating production systems and offshore oil/gas production
- Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
- Commercial experience with proficiency in economics, marketing practices and contracting
- Knowledge of all components of a deal structure, including risks and deal value
