Requirements
- J.D. and admission to the bar or the ability to practice in-house in your office location
- 3+ years’ experience practicing as a transactions attorney, including 2+ years of experience in contracting for professional or outsourced services, workplace management or construction services, software licenses, cloud/SaaS agreements, or marketing and creative content services.
Responsibilities
- Independently draft, review and negotiate agreements including software, data and content licenses, cloud service agreements, professional services agreements, construction and design agreements, property and equipment leases, publicity releases and non-disclosure agreements.
- Provide daily legal support to the LinkedIn Global Strategic Sourcing team, Real Estate and Workplace Operations and the LinkedIn Learning Solutions Content Management team regarding contractual obligations, intellectual property rights, and data protection and privacy agreements.
- Act as a legal partner to the LinkedIn procurement, contingent workforce, accounts payable, information security, risk management, and other stakeholder teams on contractual, privacy and compliance issues.
- Optimize contract templates, playbooks, and negotiation and management processes for the Legal & Public Policy team to create leverage and efficiency.
- Provide support to senior attorneys as needed.

- Demonstrated ability to draft, review, and negotiate agreements independently with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated ability to manage various deals and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to build strong relationships with teams across various disciplines and seniority levels
- A proficient understanding of global data privacy and security frameworks
- Experience with AI-related transactions
- Provides exceptional customer service
- Exercises sound business judgment and escalates material issues to senior attorneys as needed
- Sense of humor and positive ‘can-do’ attitude
