Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree plus a Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Deep subject matter expertise in media, technology, entertainment, marketing, and/or distribution legal matters.
- A track record of closing challenging deals and advising in digital subject matter.
- Confident, ownership-styled personality, who is comfortable in uncertainty, high work volumes, and demanding client stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic counsel on a broad range of initiatives.
- Draft and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements in many of our product verticals for both TikTok and other products and services such as CapCut and Lemon8.
- Work cross-functionally with business and legal colleagues and worldwide to support the global businesses of TikTok and our other products.
Preferred Qualifications
- You have worked for a consumer-facing technology platform.
- You have structured and negotiated product partnerships and tech transactions.
- You have a strong understanding of technology, intellectual property, and rights-related issues.
