Responsibilities
- This role is an individual contributor and must be able to work within a matrixed legal support team framework. You will be responsible for all commercial energy contracts and agreements within the Energy Systems business.
- Identify and analyze organization’s strengths and weaknesses and respond to opportunities in the sales environment.
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of team members engaged in commercial framework focused on Energy System’ services offerings; development of framework for services agreements for differing applications and commercial strategies, as well as lead agreement negotiation(s), find acceptable commercial language solutions for balanced risk agreements and oversight and resolution plans to contractual complaints.
- Develop and manage sales of commercial offerings in alignment with long and short-term sales strategies; establish training programs for sales team on negotiation and contractual strategies.
- Support a sales leadership team to achieve successful negotiations of a balanced commercial strategy to drive commercial success aligned with sales and profit goals.
Preferred Qualifications
- Seasoned IPP & Energy Services Agreement background as a legal professional is required for this role.
- Experience leading commercial contracts in North America and global markets highly preferred.
