Requirements
- Hold a valid broker license for your province.
- CIP/CAIB/CRM is an asset.
- 1-5 years experience in insurance, commercial broking experience is an asset.
- Passion for customer experience.
- Persistence and agility to meet set targets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and demonstrated flexibility in managing multiple clients at a time.
Responsibilities
- Support and effectively onboard new customers to your base of accounts.
- Carefully review all new submissions and policy data for accuracy and handle policy changes.
- Manage multiple clients and answer all customer queries regarding additional or existing insurance policies in a timely manner.
- Manage the existing book of business by issuing certificates, and processing endorsements for large and complex accounts.
- Maintain effective communication with clients to fully understand their insurance requirements and make recommendations accordingly.
- Review and advise customers on any gaps in coverage and recommend additional coverages to consider.
- Liaison with insurance partners to create the best possible insurance packages for each client.
- Work with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
- Provide meaningful client experience with each interaction.
- Upsell and cross-sell the current book of business.
- Process remarkets.
- Work remotely on a regular office hours schedule in your time zone.
- Other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
- CIP/CAIB/CRM is an asset.
- 1-5 years experience in insurance, commercial broking experience is an asset.
