Requirements
- 2+ years relevant post-graduate work experience in purchasing, supply chain, program/product management, logistics or product development
- High level of analytical ability where problems can be somewhat complex.
- High level of oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with others.
- Ability to balance multiple assignments.
- Computer skills and knowledge with understanding of (Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, etc.)
- Spanish Speaking
Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between purchasing, engineering, warehousing/manufacturing, logistics and suppliers to resolve issues and to provide support.
- Lead recovery process for assigned Command Center cases with appropriate GM functional staffs and Assembly/Metal Centers.
- Work with other coordinators managing critical supply issues that come into the NASO Command Center.
- Must have some flexibility and at times work extended and non-core hours to ensure issues are worked to resolution.
- Flexibility to include rotation of short-term working off shift hours from home.
- Ability to summarize critical issues with resolutions and communicate to leadership.
- Develop and lead complex flow plans for supplier performance tracking and plant allocation of critical parts.
- Will be using MGO, Web-focus and various other tools to analyze supply chain status and develop countermeasures when necessary.
- Complete ad-hoc projects as the need arises including Holiday supplier work plans, premium reduction initiatives and late/increased production changes.
- Must be able to manage very complex & stressful supply issues to resolution with goal to eliminate/minimize plant disruptions and reduce premium transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, related field
- Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related advanced degree a plus
- Production Control & Logistics Experience
- Proficient in MGO
- Material system knowledge (MGO-A and MGO-C)
- Purchasing system knowledge (GPS)
- Skilled in managing projects.
- Planning and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and self-directed.
