Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from Drexel University, with a cooperative learning track.
  • Available to work 40 hours per week for 6 months starting September 22, 2025, through March 27, 2026.
  • Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs.
  • Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting.

Responsibilities

  • Disbursements for COMPAC
  • Compile documentation for COMPAC voucher packets
  • Log vouchers in a Microsoft Access database and maintain accurate records
  • Prepare and mail contributions/letters to both internal staff and political campaigns
  • Maintain other records as needed
  • Assist in the administration of an over $2.8 million annual program
  • Prepare and mail letters/checks to charitable organizations and corresponding donors
  • Maintain accurate recordkeeping
  • Maintain charity database while updating as needed
  • Contact charities to obtain tax-exempt certifications
  • Correspond extensively with COMPAC donors regarding pledge information and PAC Match
  • Provide on-site event support such as checking in guests and working with security/catering
  • Assist in writing/editing internal communications that reaches over 20,000 management level employees
  • Support Political Affairs staff as needed
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

  • Strong interest in the political process
  • Exceptional analytical and organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interest in the telecommunications, cable and media industries
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills (both written and verbal)
  • Ability to work on a team but can work self-directed as well
  • Preferred Majors: History, Mathematics, Political Science, Business Administration, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Finance
