Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science/Analytics, Engineering, Applied Economics, Management Information Systems) and 6+ years of experience in Data Analytics or Risk/Business Strategy in Financial Services
- Proficiency in SAS/SQL and/or Alteryx
- Ability to leverage analytics insights to design risk or business strategies, and design/produce A/B testing analytics
- Highly effective communication and storytelling skills and ability to bridge technical and non-technical audience and stakeholders
- Knowledge of best practices within data visualization and user experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
Responsibilities
- Understand the card and overdraft collections business, including existing product features and strategy, various collections-specific performance metrics and terminology, and nuances of collections data
- Perform detailed quantitative analysis using SAS/SQL and/or Alteryx to evaluate performance of new and existing collections strategies and product features
- Identify opportunities to enhance existing strategy segmentation and product functionality, and translate analytics insights into actionable business recommendations
- Analyze customer interactions and events across a variety of channels (calls, texts, digital) to better understand customer journeys and friction points
- Develop business cases with financial sizing to support various product initiatives
- Present analytics findings and recommendations to senior leadership clearly and concisely, influence stakeholders, and gain cross-functional alignment
- Partner with technology and product to create data capture and storage requirements for existing and future initiatives
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in quantitative or technical discipline
- Knowledge and experience in credit card and/or retail bank businesses
- Collections strategy and/or analytics experience
- Experience in Digital or Omni-channel analytics
- Knowledge of AI/ML use cases in financial services
- Proficient using Agile methodology (Scrum or Kanban)
