Requirements

  • Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in logistics, supply chain, or business systems roles with a demonstrated track record of driving enterprise-level improvements (>$100K value projects)
  • 7+ years of experience leading large-scale business system implementations in partnership with IT (e.g., SAP, Oracle, TMS)
  • Proven experience in managing teams (3–7+ FTEs) and leading cross-functional initiatives with measurable outcomes
  • Excellent familiarity with digital tools across the logistics stack: ERP, TMS, WMS, EDI, ASN, BI analytics
  • Demonstrated application of Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies in operational environments
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field required; MS degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Define, develop, and maintain the long-term strategic vision and roadmap for the Global Logistics CoE, ensuring alignment with enterprise digitalization goals and future-state supply chain capabilities
  • Sponsor the adoption of SCOR-based process frameworks to drive maturity, benchmarking, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Translate Industry 4.0 logistics trends into practical roadmaps, enabling automation, data-driven decision-making, and real-time network visibility
  • Drive the evaluation, selection, and implementation of logistics-focused business systems (ERP, TMS, WMS, EDI, ASN), ensuring scalability, configurability, and integration across global platforms
  • Drive cross-functional blueprinting efforts to help global deployments, with particular focus on standardization, automation, and OCM (Organizational Change Management)
  • Partner with IT to align business requirements with application roadmaps, prioritizing functionality that improves end-to-end supply chain efficiency and hit target goals
  • Partner with other CoEs, IT organization, and business SMEs to identify systemic improvement opportunities and synchronize execution plans
  • Facilitate alignment with cross-functional leadership to drive accountability for transformation outcomes, metrics adoption, and value realization
  • Own and evolve logistics performance measurement frameworks, including KPI definition, tracking, and benchmarking
  • Manage efforts to study logistics network inefficiencies, enabling proactive redesign and capability building in areas such as last-mile delivery, inventory visibility, and demand response
  • Build and mentor a high-performing CoE team with exceptional data skills, technical, and operational expertise
  • Develop training frameworks and SOPs that foster scalable knowledge transfer and sustain process improvements globally

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SCOR model integration is highly desirable
  • Industry certifications such as APICS CSCP, CPIM, or Lean Six Sigma are a plus
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development in supply chain digital transformation, Industry 4.0, or smart logistics
