Requirements
- High school diploma required with minimum one year related job experience with fabrication and benders and/or combination of education and experience.
- Demonstration and application of NC code to provide quality modifications, knowledge of machine capabilities, strong attention to detail when examining prints, and ability to operate plotter.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and effectively manage time and resources while supporting the department.
- Ability to produce accurate, professional, and error-free documents in a timely manner.
- Ability to provide informative and professional assistance when working with the public/customers and co-workers.
Responsibilities
- Nest hot orders and production parts.
- Compose graphs of laser and nesting efficiencies.
- Evaluate workload on lasers and develop a plan to divide the workload.
- Plot prints for flame cutter.
- Draw transfer files used only in plates of fabrication and repair DXF’s as required.
- Reduce costs and shorten lead-times through daily continuous improvement activities, which may include kaizen events and application of daily improvement principles.
